Beginning January 1, 2018 the City of Charlotte will increase the home purchase price limits for it’s House Charlotte Down Payment Assistance Program. The new limits will consist of:
- New Home Construction: new purchase price maximum is $224,000
- for Pre-Existing Homes: new purchase price maxmimum is $193,000
The new increase in the home purchase price limit is well received throughout the real estate community, as home prices have surged significantly in the Charlotte, NC. region. Currently, the average home sales price in Charlotte NC. is well over $210,000.
